KELLY SUE KUHNA

Kelly Sue Kuhna, 66, of Alpena, passed away Sunday, Nov. 10, 2024, at her home.

Kelly Sue Rose was born Oct. 22, 1958, in Presque Isle County, to the late Earl and Elaine (Milbocker) Rose. On Feb. 24, 1979, she married Gordon Kuhna. She owned and operated Kelly Kares adult foster care home. Kelly enjoyed hunting, boating, and fishing. She was a volunteer firefighter for Alpena Township and enjoyed being with her grandchildren. Kelly loved her family and always put her family first. She had a great sense of humor and you could always count on her to brighten your day.

Surviving are her husband, Gordon; two daughters, Alisha (Barry) Bott, Ciji Kuhna; five grandchildren, Maddison, Whitney, Jack, Andrew, Cameron; and brother, Rocky (Michelle) Rose.

Kelly was preceded in death by her sister, Carrie Craner, and brother, James Rose.

Cremation arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
