DIANA MARY PATTERSON-FEYS

Diana Mary Patterson-Feys, 81, of Lincoln, passed away Monday, Dec. 16, 2024, at her home.

Diana Mary Cassini was born Dec. 28, 1942, to the late Matthew and Mary (Gaworecki) Cassini. She married Erik Stier on Jan. 21, 1961. On Sept. 14, 1985, she married Dr. Vern Patterson. He preceded her in death on Oct. 9, 2002. She later married Rene Feys on Jan. 30, 2015.

A lover of life, adventure, and a bit of mischief, Diana was the consummate mom and grandma, with a flare for the dramatic and an explorer’s spirit. An artist in all she did, Diana was a champion of dreams and cultivated the spirit it takes to realize them.

Surviving are her husband, Rene Feys; two children, Lisa (Mark Kroll) Stier, Erik (Kim) Stier; three grandchildren, James (Lindsay) Costanzo, Katherine Costanzo, Zoe Stier; two great-grandchildren, Hayden, Rocco; Vern Patterson’s family, four children, Shelley (Joey) Maezes, William (Sheree) Patterson, Judy (David) Parks, Nancy Patterson; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; first husband, Erik (Tammie) Stier, their son, Clifford (Rachel) Stier; and several nieces and nephews.

Diana was preceded in death by her parents, Matthew (Marie) Cassini, Mary (Harvey) Whitehouse.

Her body has been donated to science at the University of Michigan. A celebration of her life will take place at a later date. Arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
