FRIEDA SUSANNE JAGST

Frieda Susanne Jagst, 83, of Alpena, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2024, at McLaren Hospice in Petoskey.

Frieda Susanne Lengert was born April 14, 1941, in Lodz, Poland to the late Adolph and Wilhelmina (Gertz) Lengert. Frieda was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and the German American Club.

Surviving are her three children, Gregory Jagst, Jennifer (Tom) Landry, Christine (Steve) Doss; daughter-in-law, Sarah Jagst; six grandchildren, Madelyn, Hayden, Eleanor, Rose, Allison, Natalie; and sister-in-law, Helga Laengert.

Frieda was preceded in death by her son, Edward; 10 siblings, Gustav, Erna, Martha, Bertha, Wilhelm, Arnold, Olga, Lydia, Therese, and Irma.

Visitation will take place Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church from noon until the funeral service at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Joshua Schultz officiating. Arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.

Interment: Evergreen Cemetery
