PATRICIA A. THORNTON

Patricia A. (Mytko) Thornton, 84, of Alpena, passed away Thursday, Dec. 19, 2024, at Medilodge of Tawas City.

Patricia LaFleure was born March 7, 1940, in Alpena, to the late Lawrence and Teressie (Knight) LaFleure. On Aug. 16, 1958, she married Joey Mytko. He preceded her in death on Sept. 14, 1973. She later married Ivan Thornton. Patricia enjoyed Bingo, reading, and doing puzzle books.

Surviving are her four children, Kenneth Mytko, Julie (Robert) Losinski, Kelli LaLonde, Shannon (Rick) Riddle; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and brother, Donald (Mary) LaFleure.

Patricia was preceded in death by her son, Joey Mytko, his wife Susan and son Joshua; son-in-law, Jeff LaLonde; 11 siblings, Edna, John, Ella, Henry LaFleure, Delores Smith, Ella Mae Thurman, Edward LaFleure, Lawrence LaFleure, Beatrice Habermehl, Inez Grey, and Helen Hawley.

Visitation will take place Monday, Dec. 30, 2024, at Bannan Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until the funeral service at 1 p.m. with Major Prezza Morrison officiating.

Interment: Evergreen Cemetery
