STEVEN M. GAPSKE

Steven M. Gapske, 61, of Alpena passed away Dec. 27, 2024 at MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena. He is survived by his wife Debra, his children, Josh Lutey, who preceded him in death, Jesse (Val) Stoddard, Laura Gapske, Kara (Gerald) McDaniel, and Ryan (Lindsey) Gapske. Steve’s joy multiplied with the arrival of each grandchild, Victoria (Cody) Krentz, Jayden Stoddard (Alexis Parks), Gage Lutey, Adeline Lutey, and Trent Burns. His heart swelled even further with the birth of his great-grandchildren, Stella and Brayden Krentz, his sisters, Patti (Mark) Byce and Nancy (Patrick) Smith, and many nieces and nephews.

Per his wishes Steve has been taken for cremation with no services planned at this time. The family would like to thank Pastor John Shipman of St. Paul Lutheran Church-Alpena for all his support and prayers.
