HELEN DORIS PAGE

Helen Doris Page, 94, of Alpena, passed away Monday, Jan. 6, 2025, at her home.

Helen Doris Gries was born Sept. 28, 1930, in Alpena County, to the late William and Emma (Zarske) Gries. On Oct. 29, 1949, she married John Page. He preceded her in death on Oct. 25, 2017. Helen worked at JC Penney. She was a member of Leer Lutheran Church and enjoyed fishing, camping with John, playing cards, flower gardens, and winter in Florida and Arizona.

Surviving are her three children, Sharon Ferrell, Ronald Page, Gary (Cindy) Page; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; sister, Edna (Hugh) Rotieers; brother, Kenneth (Linda) Gries; and several nieces and nephews.

Helen was preceded in death by her son, Dale Page and brother Elmer (Allene) Gries.

Visitation will take place Friday at Bannan Funeral Home from 2 to 8 p.m. and continue Saturday at Leer Lutheran Church from 9 a.m. until the funeral service at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Leslie Nye officiating.

Interment: Pilgrims Rest Cemetery
