IMOGENE DORIS FULCHER

Imogene Doris (Stepanski) Fulcher passed away on Dec. 31, 2024 in Superior Twp., Michigan.

Imogene was born on Dec. 3, 1931 in Alpena, Michigan to parents, Frank and Veronica Stepanski. On June 20, 1953, she married James R. “Jim” Fulcher in Alpena. Their family relocated to Ypsilanti, Michigan, where Imogene was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling back home to visit family and friends, while staying at their cabin. Imogene was the biggest cheerleader for her grandchildren at their school, band, and sporting events.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jim; daughter, Kathy; granddaughter, Dawn; parents, Frank and Veronica; and brothers, Frank and Leon.

Imogene is survived by children, Richard Fulcher, Karen Meeks, and Robert Fulcher; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and extended family, including sister-in-laws, Janet Fulcher and Phyllis David.

Funeral services will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 411 Florence St., Ypsilanti, Michigan, 48197, with visitation at 10 a.m. and mass at 11 a.m.

Burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, 1300 W. Washington Ave., Alpena, Michigan, 49707 on Friday, Jan. 10, 2024 at 11 a.m. with committal prayers at 10:30 a.m.

Memorial Contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and the American Cancer Society.
