JUDITH ANN FREEMAN

Judith Ann Freeman, 83, of Alpena passed away Monday, Feb. 24, 2025, at MyMichigan Medical Center – Alpena.

Judith Ann McLaren was born Oct. 21, 1941, in Detroit to the late Gordon and Mildred (Sharp) McLaren. On May 10, 1962, she married Charlie Freeman. Judith retired from Alpena Public Schools in 1996 as a teacher aide. She enjoyed volunteering at the hospital knitting baby caps.

Surviving are her husband, Charlie; three children, Lori (Theo) Igielski, Thomas Freeman, Kelli (Scott) Samp; two grandchildren, Alyssa (Tristan) Kelepoch, Emily Samp; two siblings, Gay Wood, Dennis (Ann) McLaren; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial visitation will take place Friday at Bannan Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until the memorial service at 2 p.m. with Pastor Timothy Decker officiating.
