THOMAS DANIEL KLEIN

Thomas Daniel Klein, 84, of Hillman, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2025, at MyMichigan Medical Center – Alpena.

Thomas was born March 17, 1940, in Montmorency County to the late Reuben and Clara (Laurette) Klein. On Dec. 31, 1960, he married Helen Devericks. He retired from GM Truck & Bus in 1995. Thomas enjoyed wrapping hangers and gardening. He enjoyed volunteering throughout the community.

Surviving are his three children, Wesley (Kelly) Klein, Thomas (Annette) Klein, Heather (Timothy) Matas; two daughters-in-law, Nanci Klein, Barb Klein; 16 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four siblings, Clair Klein, James Klein, Edna Balog, and David (Kim) Klein.

Thomas was preceded in death by his sons, John Klein, Reuben Klein; grandson, Stephen Matas; four sisters, Marie Allen, Frances Farrier, Delia Laakso, and Helen Klein.

Cremation arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
