THOMAS VINCENT BRENNAN

Thomas Vincent Brennan, 92, Michigan passed away Thursday, Jan. 30, 2025, at MyMichigan Medical Center of Alpena.

Tom was born June 9, 1932, in Galesburg, Michigan to John and Katherine (Brinkman) Brennan. On Dec. 23, 1952, he married Nita Joan Robertsen, who preceded him in death on July 30, 2024. Tom won a high school state championship in 1950 for Kalamazoo Central High School. Tom continued his athletic career at the University of Purdue where he went on to play football. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and enjoyed fishing and playing golf. He was able to help with a Gift of Life Donation.

Surviving are his two children Bruce (Diane) Brennan, Karen (Richard) Sweet; three grandchildren, Elizabeth (Nick) Pietrykowski, Adam (Kimmy) Brennan, Jason (Joseph) Brennan; seven great-grandchildren, Trent, Meggie, Jilli, Payton, Ryder, Cole, Avey; and nephew, David (Ingrid) Gray.

Tom was preceded in death by his son, Terrence Michael Brennan.

Visitation will take place Thursday at Bannan Funeral Home from 2-8 p.m. and continue Friday at Grace Lutheran Church from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Thomas Orth officiating.

Interment: Deer Lake Cemetery, Reed City, Michigan
