ARLINGTON ADRIAN PREVOST

April 26, 1932 – March 27, 2025

Arlington Adrian Prevost, 92, of Alpena passed away surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at MyMichigan Medical Center – Alpena.

Arlington was born April 26, 1932, in Alpena to the late Clarence and Evelyn (Badder) Prevost. He served in the United States Air Force. On Jan. 1, 1951, he married Rena Weinert. She preceded him in death on Aug. 18, 2012. Arlington retired from the Air National Guard in 1978 and later owned and operated Prevost Trucking. He was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his five children, Randy (Diane) Prevost, Gregg (Colleen) Prevost, Dalair Dones, Shawn (Neil) Manning, Kevin Prevost; 10 grandchildren, Travis (Amy) Hansen, Heather (Kevin) Winfield, Jeremy (Heather) Hansen, Dustin (Lisa) Prevost, Brett (Marie) Hansen, Zachariah (Elizabeth) Prevost, Emilee (Evan Beyer) Manning, Shyla Prevost, Kylie Prevost, Chyenne (fiance Ozmund Johnson) Prevost; 12 great grandchildren, Cayden, Blaise, Aaden, Jett, Wyatt, TayOnna, Camdyn, Tatum, Kennedie, Elisha, Benjamin, Aaron; three sisters, Carol Prevost, Carolyn (Ed) Ritthaler, and Dixie Crevier.

Arlington was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Bill Dones and brother, Donald Prevost.

Visitation will take place Monday at Bannan Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. with military honors accorded him by Alpena V.F.W. Post 2496 at 5 p.m. Visitation will continue Tuesday at Resurrection Lutheran Church from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Doug Lopez officiating.
