ILA LUETZOW

Ila Delores Luetzow devoted wife and mother passed away peacefully at home in Rogers City surrounded by her loving family on March 27, 2025, at the age of 92.

She was born in Rogers City to Max and Louise Schaedig on April 18, 1932.

On Sept. 15, 1951, she married Herman Luetzow at St. John Lutheran Church. Ila enjoyed cooking, baking, canning, working in her flower garden and spending time at camp with her family. She was a faithful member of St. James Lutheran Church in Moltke Township.

Ila is survived by her children, Helen (Don) Rygwelski of Grand Lake, Gary (Kathy) Luetzow of Rogers City, Larry Luetzow of Rogers City and Pam (Mark Kandow) Kroll; daughter-in-law, Dale Luetzow of Rogers City; grandchildren, Greg (Jennifer) Luetzow, Brian (Sheila) Rygwelski, Aaron (Robyn) Luetzow, Andrew (Jessica) Luetzow, Christopher (Gwen) Luetzow, Angela Luetzow, Heather Luetzow and Jennifer Luetzow; great grandchildren, Chase Luetzow, Evan Rygwelski, Haley Rygwelski, Emma Luetzow, Connor Luetzow, Lily Luetzow, Jaxon Benson, Sawyer Pszczolkowski and Levi Luetzow; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman; son Duane; sister, Eileen (John) Curtis.

Friends may visit at St. James Lutheran Church on Friday, April 4 from 1 p.m. through time of her funeral at 2 p.m. with Pastor Mary Hughes officiating.

Interment will take place at St. James Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to St. James Lutheran Church or McLaren Hospice in memory of Ila Luetzow.
