IRENE MARIE YULE

Irene Marie Yule, 92, of Alpena passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Turning Brook.

Irene Marie Kapala was born Sept. 9, 1932, in Rogers City to the late John and Lucy (Zielinski) Kapala. On Aug. 11, 1962, she married William Yule. He preceded her in death on April 18, 2012. Irene was a teacher aide at Pied Piper School. She was a charter member of Daughters of Isabella, St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Rogers City and later All Saints of Alpena.

Surviving are her two daughters, Christine Leeck, Michele (Mike) Palevich; five grandchildren, Chelsea (Jareth) Pulkamer, Courtney (Matt) Buckey, Christy (fiance Kegan Krajniak) Leeck, Cole (Adrianna) Palevich, Jacob Palevich; six great-grandchildren, Charlee Buckey, Parker Buckey, Brinn Pulkamer, Jameson Pulkamer, Ryker Palevich, Dallas Palevich; brother, James (Del) Kapala; and sister-in-law, Jacqueline Kapala.

Irene was preceded in death by her son, Terry; son-in-law, Tony Leeck; infant brother, Stanley Kapala; and brother, Edmond Kapala.

A private graveside service will take place. Arrangements have been made by the Bannan Funeral Home.
