JEFFREY FARRIER

Aug. 15, 1959 – March 2, 2025

In Loving Memory of a Renegade Spirit

It is with heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Jeffrey Farrier on Sunday March 2, 2025. Born on Aug. 15, 1959 in Alpena, MI, Jeff embraced a life marked by an unyielding passion for the outdoors and a spirit that was as fierce as it was free.

Jeff found solace and strength through nature and in Christ. Whether trekking through forests looking for morels, slowly cruising his boat around Gaylanta lake, or tracking game under open skies, he reveled in the challenges and beauty of the wilderness. He was openly public about his strong relationship and devotion he had towards his Creator.

Jeff confronted life’s battles with an unwavering determination. He moved to the beat of his own drum, a trailblazer who never hesitated to forge his own path, regardless of convention. His courage, independence, and authenticity inspired those around him, leaving a legacy of resilience and individuality.

Jeff is survived by his parents, Nelson and Bonnie Farrier; children, Daniel Farrier and Nathan (Beth) Farrier; grandchildren, Lincoln and Macy Farrier; his special aunt and uncle, Christine and Rod (Amy) Farrier, all of whom carry forward his legacy of adventure, honor, and an unbridled love for the natural world. He was preceded in death by his brother, Todd; and niece, Jessica Farrier.

A celebration of Jeff’s remarkable life will be held in Hillman mid to late April, with further details to be announced. Family, friends, and all who admired his journey are invited to share stories, memories, and moments that capture the essence of a man who truly lived life on his own terms.

May Jeff rest in eternal peace, forever roaming the great outdoors and inspiring us to seek our own wild adventures. Arrangements were entrusted to Green Funeral Home. Condolence messages may be sent via our website at www.greenfuneralhomes.com.
