LYDIA E. LANG
Lydia E. Lang, 83, of Hubbard Lake, departed this life and entered into eternity on Tuesday, March 18, 2025.
Lydia was born on Aug. 22, 1941, to the late Adolph and Marie (Steinbrenner) Hoeberling. Lydia married the love of her life and forever soulmate, David G. Lang, on Sept. 5, 1959, at Salem Lutheran Church of Wolf Creek. He preceded her in death on June 26, 2022.
Lydia was a lifelong resident of Hubbard Lake. She enjoyed many things in life including cards, gardening, camping, cats, and most of all, spending time with family and friends. Lydia’s faith in the Lord Jesus was evident in the way she loved her family, supporting and caring for them always. She was a treasure, a true joy to be around, and will be deeply missed.
Lydia is survived by her three sons, Rodney (Sherry Zomerhuis) Lang, Daryl Lang, and Jeffery (Amy) Lang; grandchildren Nicholas (Becky) Lang, Steve (Ashley) Lang, Tiffany (Andrew) Tracey, and Sarah (Jacob) Showerman; great-grandchildren Keiden, Kennedy, Isaiah, Samuel, Emilia, Micah, Jack, Jackson, Lucy, Lydia, and Eleanor; and her brother Adolph (Carolyn) Hoeberling; brother-in-law, Jim Sanford, sisters-in-law, Marion Lang, Pat (Ron Rosbeck) Cowden, Carolyn (John) Schleben; and many dear nieces and nephews.
Lydia was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, JoEllen Lang; siblings Victor Hoeberling, Emma Jaeger, Esther Schultz, Helen Patrick, Al Hoeberling, and Theresa Miller.
Memorial visitation will take place on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Hope Lutheran Church of Hubbard Lake from 10 a.m. until the memorial service at noon with Rev. Dr. Bryan Salminen officiating. Cremation arrangements have been handled by Bannan Funeral Home.
