ROSALIE A. BEDARD GILBERTSON

It’s what between the dash that counts.

I was born Sept. 4, 1931, to the late Henry “Pat” and Emily (St. Charles) Bedard.

On Aug. 24, 1957, I married Clayton A. Gilbertson and together we were the proud parents of three sons, Thomas A. and wife Allison of Alpena, Barry C. and wife Gayle of Walker, MI, Kurt H. and wife Kim of Ocala, FL. To add to our joy we had four grandchildren, Trisha (Lewis Alexander) Gilbertson, Brett (Sarah) Gilbertson, Corrine Gilbertson, Andrea Gilbertson, and five great-grandchildren Trevian, Xavier and Brooklyn Alexander, Kaylee and Kendall Gilbertson.

On Dec. 13, 2013, Clayton departed this earth. We were married 57 years. I am survived by one brother Dr. Larry (fiance Tokiko) Bedard of California, sister-in-law, Patricia Bedard of CO, 12 nieces and nephews, and lifelong friend, Pat Dege.

I was preceded in death by my sister, Patricia Bedard Tiefel of IN in 2019 and my brother, Dr. Charles Bedard of CO in 2020, and lifelong friends Marj Matheson, Joanne Centala, and Phyllis Suszek.

Visitation will take place Thursday at St. Anne Church of All Saints Parish from 9:30 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Aloysius Okpala officiating. Arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home and will be streamed at www.bannanfuneralhome.com.

Interment: Holy Cross Cemetery
