ROSEANN MARIE HEADLEY
Nov. 21, 1950 – March 3, 2025
Roseann Marie Headley, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2025, at the age of 74, in her hometown of Alpena, where she was also born on Nov. 21, 1950. She left this earth to be with the other angels in heaven.
Roseann’s journey began as the beloved daughter of Louis and Helen Kraft, and she grew up surrounded by a large and loving family. Her siblings, Skipper, Donald, Ray, Dave, Clarence, Bob, Jim, Eleanor, Eileen, and Alberta, shared the joys and adventures of their childhood. Roseann’s life was further enriched by her marriage to Harold Headly, with whom she built a life filled with love and laughter. Together, they raised two wonderful sons, Scott and Roy, who married Tina, adding to the family’s joy.
Her role as a grandmother to Cody, Theodore, Britany, Breanna, and Alexis Rae was one of Roseann’s greatest pleasures. She cherished every moment spent with them and was overjoyed to become a great-grandmother to Maxim and Romey. Her family was the cornerstone of her existence, and she took immense pride in each of their achievements and milestones.
Roseann’s talents were many, but she was particularly renowned for her exquisite wedding cake decorations. Her passion for baking and decorating was evident in the many special birthday cakes she lovingly crafted for family and friends. Her gentle touch and thoughtful nature were infused into every creation, making each celebration all the more memorable.
Beyond her baking skills, Roseann had a heart that cared deeply for others. She was always there to lend a helping hand, a listening ear, or a word of encouragement. Her propensity to worry about others was a testament to her boundless love and concern for the well-being of those around her.
Her artistic flair extended to painting, a hobby that brought her great solace and joy. Roseann also found pleasure in the quiet moments spent solving puzzles, word searches, and crossword puzzles, activities that kept her mind sharp and her spirit content.
Those who knew Roseann would describe her as loving, gentle, and thoughtful. She had a way of making everyone she met feel valued and important. Her presence was a source of comfort and strength, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Roseann was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Helen Kraft; her sisters, Eleanor Johnston, Eileen (Jim) Fettes, brother, Donald (Mureen) and; sisters-in-law, Sharon Kraft and Linda Kraft; and brother-in-law, Ken Martin.
