Air concerns at Sanborn Township meetings
In Sanborn Township on Nov. 5, Election Day, 258 electors voted for a change of township supervisor who wanted to improve communications between the township board and all interested voters by making accessibility to taping of meetings or live interactive online access.
Especially important is traffic control signals around the school location to provide a safer crossing for students and staff. To improve street lighting along Main Street. Promote new business by assisting redevelopment of empty buildings.
Plan and develop a senior citizen center for our seniors to come together for different activities. Also future development of parks, beach areas, and fishing piers along with clean up of Devil’s River from the Huron Lake to State Street for starters.
Currently, there has been no talk of the above developments or improvements, but, should the voters voice their concerns at the township meetings, anything could happen. Remember your appearance at the township meetings is important for improvements.
JOHN MORAN,
