What have we done by electing a former felon, misogynist, narcissistic, lying individual?

We have set precedence for our children, as they can do whatever they want, because their skin will be like Teflon and nothing will become of their actions. If we try to correct them, they will emulate those in power. No matter what we do, they will say I could be president, he was twice.

We missed something when Crosby said teach your children well their father’s hell will slowly go by.

This last election was white men, Black men, Hispanics, and Latinos not wanting an intelligent woman in charge because it would show that they weren’t macho. Sad.

Now, Texas nationalists wish to take Texas out of the union and call it a different independent country within a country. This is the first step toward a civil war.

Some were saying if Kamala Harris got in it would happen. A great example of “let’s cause chaos to get what we want, instead of working together to achieve what we need.”

Have we not learned anything throughout our short history?

They cannot be serious because now running the state are misinformed white men afraid to lose power, or if they have their way, gain power. Who will help them when it gets cold and their senator buzzes off to Cancun or a governor who has no empathy buses immigrants to different cities where they are not prepared because of the cold?

This conglomerate of unthinking people is scary.

There is not a plausible scenario where Texas could peacefully leave the United States and be self-governing. There is no indication of the populace even thinking about it. The people would be under an iron fist like they were before the Alamo.
