‘Nutcracker’ was enchanting performance
I am writing to express my heartfelt thanks to Christine Giordano, the dance instructor and owner of The Dance Centre, for the exceptional community presentation of “The Nutcracker.” It was a truly magical experience and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to witness such a high-quality production right here in Alpena. I’m not sure how many years she has presented this ballet, but I do know my own daughter was Candy Cane in the very first performance in 1997.
This performance was a beautiful showcase of talent, dedication, and the spirit of the holiday season. From the graceful dancers to the set design and costumes, every detail was thoughtfully crafted, creating a performance that delighted audience members of all ages. It’s clear that a great deal of hard work went into bringing this beloved classic to life and the result was nothing short of enchanting.
For many, this performance was not only an introduction to the art of ballet but also a heartwarming way to celebrate the holiday season together. I am proud to be a part of a community that is rich in artistic expression and grateful for the ongoing efforts to make such opportunities accessible to all.
Thank you to all that took part to make these performances last weekend possible.
