Real-life starting to mirror fiction too much
I so enjoy a good book, or movie for that matter. Most are mirrors of real everyday life. Some of my favorite genres are ‘Who Done its’ when the detective uses intuition and experience deducing human atrocities; but mostly the intricate use of local, or countrywide/worldwide facilities such as the Center for Disease Control, Federal Bureau of Investigation, National Crime Information Center, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Central Intelligence Agency, or Secret Intelligence Service (James Bond) to “catch the villain!” All of these agencies are utilized and highly important to keep those villains at bay.
As of late, I find real-life mirroring fiction! Would-be politicians with little or no experience, of their own admittance, applying for serious jobs within our country that affect each of the 99% of citizens who are not able to buy their way into the Kingdom of the Oligarchy! These very people bullying their way into our savings accounts, job security, and the security of our country within the World Arena. The cause and effectiveness of “chaos management” in real-time, proving that while we watch these anti-American assaults on citizens, the wolf is in the hen house! By the way, what happened to the promise to reduce everyday costs of simple food items, i.e. the egg?
I’m not naive enough to believe if I clap my hands loud and long enough Tinker Bell will save the day! But I am an American who believes in the balance of power: the Executive-Legislative-Judicial arms of the Constitution of America. Our America is built on giving hope to those in need, not degrading honor and dignity. Democracy takes ‘We the People’ to be vigilant and make certain the “villains” are not brainwashing the majority into submission…so bullies can be king!
