Courtesy Photos Daniele Knight and her horse “Markie” won champion and reserve champion at the Michigan Reining Horse Association competition over Labor Day weekend. The show, which takes place in Midland, draws competitors from the surrounding five states. The wins pushed her over the points threshold needed to earn a National Reining Horse Association Green Reiner Buckle. Knight has being competing in the sport for eight years.
